MICHAEL GUNGOR On The Problem With The Christian Music Industry

So this blog post has been making its circles on my Facebook and I have to say I agree 100% with this. There’s a reason why I don’t listen to Christian music. There’s a reason why I don’t think much of Chris Tomlin or Matt Redman or whomever. It’s not because their passion is boring, it’s because the Christian music industry is so watered down that I don’t get excited for it. I don’t know.

If there were more Christian artists that play the music style I like, then I probably would feel different. But I don’t hear music style I like. There is no creativity. It’s all kind of boring. I’m, not saying it’s all bad, but surely there isn’t enough of it where I’m convinced to listen.
