He is Risen!
The people need the resurrected Jesus. A Jesus who walks around and does miracles but lives on a normal life afterward is not the Jesus the people need.
The people need a Messiah. They need a Savior. The people need a Jesus to break the chains of sin that was holding all from God.
The people need a Jesus who had to conquer sin. The people need a Jesus who lived among us, suffered among us and died for all of us.
Without the death and resurrection, there would be no eternal salvation. We would still be lost and have no connection with God.
Jesus brought that. He fulfilled that promise with His resurrection. That is what we needed. We have it. We celebrate it.
Happy Easter! It’s a celebration of our eternal salvation in God. Thank you Jesus for dying for us.
